Sanko has won the golden medal prize again
SANKO Holding, with her 12 companies in the Anatolian 500 Survey, received the first prize in the category of "the Groups Sending Companies to Anadolu 500."
The 13th Awards Ceremony of "the Groups Sending Companies to Anadolu 500" organized in cooperation with Economist Magazine and Turkish Economy Bank (TEB), was held on Friday, February 17 at The Ritz-Carlton with the participation of Faruk Özlü, the Minister of Science, Industry and Technology.
SANKO Holding, which contributed with her 12 companies to the Anatolian 500 survey based on 2015 year data, received the first prize in the category "the Groups Sending Companies to Anadolu 500."
At the ceremony held at The Ritz - Carlton Hotel in Istanbul, TEB Executive Vice President (Corporate) Gülümser Özgün Henden presented the prize granted to SANKO Holding to Mr. Süleyman İlden, the Chairman of Sanko Energy.
Mr. Ilden stated that he was happy to receive the award that he believed was very important in the name of SANKO, saying, "It is the result of SANKO Holding's being in the first place in the category of sending the companies with the highest number of companies to Anadolu 500".
"We would like to thank our family members and colleagues for taking the utmost care not to engage in activities that are not in the interest of the society and who have served Sanko for 113 years, and thus contributed to get this award" said Mr. Ilden.
"We are increasing our struggle every day to do better, by sincerely, with determination, never giving up on the right path, firstly loving homeland and nation, and then kneading with our companies that we build up employment and value for our country. The deceased Sani Konukoğlu's principle of "Business’s Trick is Honesty" has become the key to our success and our roadmap.
SANKO COMPANIES IN THE LIST
SANKO Holding companies such as Sanko Tekstil İşletmeleri, Sanko Dış Ticaret, Sanko Pazarlama, Çimko Cement Concrete, Super Film Packing, Avnet Technology Solutions, Sanko Energy, Bartın Cement, Başak Tractor, Enko Energy, Sanko Business and Agriculture and Sanko Machinery Marketing were listed in the Survey "the Groups Sending Companies to Anadolu 500" determined by the Magazine ‘Ekonomist’ based on the turnover.
In the category of "10 Fastest Growing Companies in Anatolia," Başak Tractor ranked 8th and Sanko Enerji Sanayi the 10th among SANKO Holding companies.
Capital, the Economy Magazine, showed 6 companies of SANKO in its "Anatolian 500" research, which reveals Turkey’s largest private sector companies in Turkey. Sanko Tekstil, Sanko Foreign Trade, Sanko Pazarlama, Çimko Cement, Avnet Technology Solutions and Super Film Packaging were on the list on the basis of 2015 data and turnover.
Sanko, one of the fastest growing 34 holdings in Turkey in the last 10 years, increased its employment by 15.4 percent and the number of companies by 17.5 percent in the same period.
Sanko Tekstil İşletmeleri Sanayi ve Ticaret AS, Çimko Cement and Concrete, Super Film Packaging, and Sanko Energy were among "Top 500 Industrial Establishments in Turkey" organized by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry for the industrial enterprises in the public and private sectors based on net sales from 2015 production.
SANKO Foreign Trade and Çimko Cement and Concrete were on the list of Turkey's 1000 largest exporters prepared by the Turkish Exporters Assembly based on the data of 2015.
